A Letter from Barbara Walters, In MemoriamAmerican journalist, writer, and media personality

Eunice Shriver was a treasured friend for many years. No one had more spirit, love in their heart, energy or humor than Eunice. Her creation of the Special Olympics is one of the great and lasting legacies of her remarkable family. It has been said that had Eunice been a man, she might well have been president I agree. Her family adored her. My heart goes out to them.
