I just heard the sad news this morning that Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver passed away on Aug 11th.
The experience of Special Olympics Games I had is a treasure of my life. During the days after 2007, I often look back the sweet days we enjoyed. And I believe Mrs. Shriver is the amazing lady. It is her passion, love and persistence that make the Speicial Olympics not only a world of equalty, sharing, and joy for people with intellectural disabilities, but also a wonderful land for people (like me) to learn, to understand, and to believe that the beauty of our lives belongs to everyone in this world.
I just want to express my sincere gratitude to her, and I will always cherish my memory of being a part of Special Olympics.
Best to you all,
Zhang Linjun (William)
