Shriver & Kennedy families
Dear Friends,
Our deepest sympathies to both your families and Special Olympics at this difficult time. I believe that whilst we have all lost an inspiring leader, we have not lost her inspiration. Like the Special Olympics atheltes, she was an AMBASSADOR of the greatness of humankind and she inspired us to know that all obstacles to human achievement and progress are surmountable. Her voice will echo each time the oath is recited, her fire will burn each time the flame is list and her legacy will love and grow through every athlete in every competition, daily, around the world. Eunice's association and work with the Nelson Mandela Children's fund will be cherished for a long time to come.
We send you our heartfelt condolences. Be strong!
