"What a great moment for me, my son, the world. What you have made possible for so many people defies all reason." LOWELL WEICKER, JR.
Former United States Senator
Bob Arnold, Special Olympics Volunteer
I wanted to extend my condolences to the Kennedy Schriver Family of the passing of a woman that so inspired me that I committed more than 30 years to Special Olympics.
I was 12 years old when I first volunteered for Special Olympics. After hearing a speech given by Eunice I spent the next 30 years volunteering and preaching the positives of Special Olympics. I am proud to say that Special Olympics and the athletes involved have give back to me 1000 fold more than I have ever given to them.
This is a very sad day for me, the world have lost a true hero and Eunice will be surely missed but never forgotten. Thank You Eunice for making the world a better place for those individuals with Intellectual Disabilities!
