DeLauro Statement on Passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver

New Haven, CT - Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT - 3) issued the following statement on the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

"I am deeply saddened by the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver early this morning. She was an extraordinary woman who accomplished so much for men and women with intellectual disabilities and others in need. Eunice illuminated the world with her dedication, her bravery and her vision. Her death is a loss to the entire nation and we will miss her deeply. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kennedy and Shriver families at this difficult time."
